As nobody seems to be posting in this hectic period, i shall post something random...cool places to lan and pool.

When I was in RI, let's say i used to be quite free so apart from random games like soccer and bball which was like my sole exercises, i used to lan and pool quite often. Kane and Big boobs often join me coz they as bo liao as me but here are the places i used to hang out...

For pool,

Meridian Monster Cue...between somerset and dhoby ghaut mrt, near istana
this place price per hour is some monster, hence the name. its like 6.80 for non peak and 10.80 for peak. but this is my favourite place coz the ambience is gd and the tables are not bad. There used to be 2 monster cues in Meridian but 1 closed down coz the police raided and there were lots of youngsters inside below 16...tt's y last time i go there, coz i underage...lol. anyway the foodcourt at meridian is not bad, especially the korean food.

Next is Classic Pool in Parkway Builders level 10 which is the blue building opposite closest to parkway parade. That place just expanded late last year so there are like imba number of tables there which are new. The balls there are also quite new and shiny. Rates there are slightly cheaper den monster cue...round 8 bucks for 9 foot table. But must get good position or else can be quite cramped at times. the cues and tables also not bad.

3rd is Megapool in Parkway Builders level 5 and i'm a member there so sometimes i go play there coz got 20% off...den anniversaries i sometimes get sms tat ask me go there collect some pool vouchers to play which is like so cool. last year i got 20 bucks free...wonder wat i will get this year. anyway the ambience there is good and the layout of the shop is gd. the downside is tat the tables are getting a bit old coz i got the membership 2 years ago so the tables are like 3 years old liao. Rates are around 8 bucks but on wk days u can go play 7ft table for 3.90. But dun play 7 feet table, only waste your time.

4th is serangoon gardens country club. They only have 2 pool tables and 2 snooker tables but they are good. But u gotta be a member to play there or enter as a guest with another member. Balls are very very shiny and tables are very very smooth. However, the cues are a tad too thick so if u like to play jump balls and add spin, den your game may screw up a bit. Anyway if u enter as a guest with a member, the guest has to pay damn a lot...

5th is Paradigm which is the building next to ParkMall at Dhoby Ghaut. I used to go there but den i realized it kinda sux so i stopped going there liao. Anyway, rates used to be 5 bucks an hour so it was quite cheap and they let in sec 3 coz they think pple with ic are like 16 already...noobs.

Anyway i heard there is a place opposite Meridian which has pool also but i forgot wat its called so nvm.

The other places really sucks so i shall just tell u where they are. Cine got K-pool which is ex...real ex and cramped. There's 2 near bedok interchange but they both suck. there's one at grandlink at paya labar mrt.there's one at katong shopping centre. there's one near parkway parade called hotshots, this is like 1 of the worse coz last time when i shot a ball, it travelled towards the hole and when it was going in, it rolled backwards...like wtf lor!

Anyway, i decided not to talk bout lan coz i gotta slp liao...and if u decide to play pool, do call me. i'm noob.
