From The Youth Club @ Boon Lay

Hi Rafflesians!

2007 is right around the corner and what better way to welcome the new year than to do have

loads of fun AND do your part for the community at the same time? The Youth Club @ Boon

Lay is organizing a New Year's Eve countdown party for the Boon Lay neighbourhood. This will

be a large event with an expected turnout of 20 000.

With the exciting theme of Firing up the Heartlands, Countdown 2007 @ Boon Lay promises

various activities such as performances by Mediacorp artistes, games, singing, dancing, street-

partying, foam-partying, a street bazaar and lucky draw opportunities! It is organized with the aim of

bringing the communities in the Western part of Singapore closer together.

So, why miss out on the excitement? Be part of this and make a difference!

We need many volunteers to make this event a roaring success, and we hope that you will be

able to sign up. The details of Countdown 2007 @ Boon Lay are as follows:

Date/Time: 31 Dec 2006 (Sun), 5pm – 1 Jan 2007 (Mon), 2am

Venue: Blk 215 Boon Lay Place (and communal areas in the vicinity)

You may select any number of roles from list A-C (schedules will not overlap) and/or one role from list D-N.

For the time being, you may sign up to be a volunteer at the noticeboards in front of the canteen and staffroom.

Alternatively, you may email Jayanthi S. at jayanthi89@gmail.com with your name, contact number, and

preferred role(s) (note the above guideline in role selection).

Details (e.g. reporting time) of the various duties will be issued to volunteers by 5 Dec (Tue). CIP

hours will be allocated accordingly. So sign up as soon as possible! Thanks in advance for participating!
